Bio

Wrigley first started MC'ing/Spittin in 2002 when he was 15. He joined a crew who he ran set with and chilled with. In 2003 Wrigley & Liquid (a member of Hit Em Up) put together a 12 track mix cd to give out for free on the road, which got them some good feedback and a reputation locally. Then they began writing tracks on a regular basis and started to get serious about doing music as a career and not just a hobby. Later on in that same year, Wrigley, Brux Deville & Raw Dee (No Fear) entered a local competition called Urban Superstars and progressed to the final. In 2004 he worked on putting together a solo mixtape, which was a new thing to the underground Manchester scene at the time. He was constantly writing and getting in the studio whenever he could to record.

In September 2004 his first solo mixtape 'Recognise' was released, he made up around 500 copies from his bedroom and hit the streets of Manchester giving them out. There was generally good feedback from that mixtape and even label interest at the time. In 2005 Wrigley, Liquid & OG from his crew, put together a 25 track mixtape called, 'Ragz 4 Da Roadz' which meant it was just a Ragz mixtape to flood the roads with, which recieved a good response in Manchester. In the same summer Wrigley and Liquid performed at a moajor event in Manchester called D-Percussion. In September 2005 Wrigley and Liquid performed in the final of the same competition entered in 2003, 'Urban Superstars'infront of 2600 people and came second place (some say they were robbed!!!). In February 2006 BBC 1XTRA did a Manchester special, with Wrigley and Liquid as guests on Richee Vibe Vee's show.
