Gritty Committee are a grime crew, with a strong line up from West London. They've released lots of big tunes that have featured on mixtapes. As well as mixtapes coming from the Artists/Members, there is a full Gritty Committee mixtape called Talk Is Cheap coming soon (early/mid 2008), and also featuring on tracks and on radio. They've also put out a promotional set for the forth coming mixtape Talk Is Cheap which you can download here.

They used to do a weekly show on Freeze FM, until the station started to move away from grime, although they still sometimes feature on DJ Munchie from True Tiger's show on Thursdays. As well as having been on other pirates alot, and also on DJ Cameo's show on 1Xtra last year. Gritty Committee is made up of Rhyming Allegiance and Dynasty. Artists from Rhyming Allegiance are Brutality, Warlock, Yello Boy, K.P & DJ 12 Inch, with members from Dynasty like Hitman Tiga, DB 1 & Ripper.

There was beef between Dynasty members, and between Gritty Committee and Marcie & Hypa. Coming from such tracks, where Hypa and Marcie refered to themselves as "Kings of West". Gritty Committee responded with some big tracks and bars, all around the time they were still doing their weekly shows on Freeze FM. Marcie Phonix and Hypa Fenn were too shook to responded to these tracks. Unfortunately mic beef turned to real beef when Hypa Fenn was stabbed by an unknown person, which soon after lead to them being forced to leave Dynasty.

Gritty Committee have the Talk Is Cheap mixtape coming this year, then individual members have things coming in 2008 too. Like Brutality's The Metaphor Juggernaut, Warlock's Friend Of Mine, Foe Of The Music, and a new mixtape from Yello Boy, with his current mixtape Westside Ridah already on road.
