Deadly NightshadeBiographyI've been here since it started...My first time on radio was on a station in North called Prime Fm, it was pretty small scale and we got thrown off in the third week...reason. I had a bar about running up in someones yard and believe me in the days of Industry Standard and RIP Groove this aint what people were expecting or wanting from an MC, I guess I could have learnt and tried to go slightly more mainstream but I thought F**K it all the mandem are feeling the road element why change...controversy can be a good thing. Word spread, I started poppin up everywhere I could spray and stations seemed to want me to reach a hell of a lot more than before...I must have grabbed sets on Y2K (Original home of Heartless Crew and Footsie) Time Fm, Raw Mission and then movin on to the big one in them days, Freek FM (the line up was basically everyone big in the garage game round them times...c'mon EZ ffs!) from there Grime kicked in, garage started dying everyone was getting onto the street bars more and I was fitting in. I'd known DJ Urban for ages but didn't know he mixed, he asked me to go onto Mystic FM with him and from there it developed into a regular show...we recruited a few members (Including Sizlos & DutchMan who later formed Contagious Boyz and went on to become the faces of Channel U and So Solids labelmates) and Big Pimps were born. Over the next year guests on our show included: Durty Goodz, Sharky Major, Stormin, Bruza, Triple Threat, DJ Vader, DJ Mondie, Shizzle, Napper, More Fire, Bushkin, Earz, Total Package, Dimples, Random Impulse, Way 2 Nang, Jeeday Jawz, Becks Winter I could go on all day lol After a while politics put an end to the movement and DJ Urban joined Heartless Crew and moved to Deja 92.3FM Id had enuff of grime and went AWOL for a bit... when I got back I was more on the Hip Hop ting...I musta met Merkules around them times and started goin on Blaze Live with his boys and Rinser 's crew...gradually got back into the grime ting lol We got a set on Axe Fm that year and recruited Untitled as a new member. Soon things stepped up pace and it was on our set that people got the exclusive unmasking of Trim Monkey (who members that loool) and we gradually moved on to having a good show time and becoming part of the Axe foundations. I watched Black The Ripper win the clash competition Axe hold yearly and I was kinda fumin I couldn't enter as it had already started. I thought...uuuuuuhm next year for sure. Around them times u could catch people like DJ Skope, DJ Limit, Leeman, Black and Natch, Disturbed ManDem, Double S or beyond the booth passing thru our shows....skip a hot minute and the clashes started again, I entered and to cut it short I won it (Check the vid on you tube...Axe Fm Clash Final) and was promised a shot at Black the Rippa. I was starting to get a lot of bookings here and abroad and at one I musta bumped into Samson and asked him when we were gonna swing and got told that he aint clashing no more its unproductive so we agreed minor we just do a collab...well nuffin happened, and nuffin happened, and nuffin happened until I get a call sayin he is callin me out...WHAT?!?!?! He didn't want it...so whats this hype...i listened heard a lil indirect so I replied he replied on Bedtime with a load of waste information...got my ends, age and allsorts wrong. Little did he know I'd been planning for this and had a whole bag of information like THAT 'gurl' on msn spillin all sorts of dirt...the reply was harsh I admit it in hindsight (I'd have taken it to the road as soon as I heard it if I was him) but that sort of brought the lid down on that lil war...although he seems to be tryna bring it back up now for sum reason lol The crew I was in with Merkules started dragging me backwards and through more politics Untitled was no longer with us, DJ Emo-D stopped feeling the grime thing and then finally Merkules called it a day, I was prepared and had been doing a load of work with DJ Iceman from Link Up Entertainment, we had been getting booked together here and in europe so it was the logical step to make it all more concrete.
