Tinchy Stryder
Tinchy Stryder is a grime artist hailing from Bow E3, East London. He is one of the genre's top solo artists, as well as being part of the highly rated group Ruff Sqwad.
Tinchy first came to prominence in 2003 (winning 'Best Newcomer' at the Sidewinder Awards), and his single 'Underground' is widely seen as the single that helped him to 'blow'. Since then he has been working hard and has collaborated with almost every major artist in the grime scene. He has also worked on two remixes with 'The Streets', first to ‘Fit But You Know It’ and then, last year, to ‘Prangin Out’.
Tinchy signed to independent label Takeover Entertainment during 2006.
