Plastician (real name Chris Reed) is a grime and dubstep producer and DJ from Thornton Heath, Croydon. He was formerly known as 'Plasticman', but was threatened with legal action by a Canadian musician who had rights to the name 'Plastikman'. He did have a show on BBC Radio 1, but was released from his contract by the BBC. Now, Plastician regularly plays on Rinse FM, with a show on Mondays from 11PM to 1AM. He is the owner of the 'Terrorhythm Recordings' label.

Plastician has worked with many of the grime scene's top artists, including Wiley, Skepta, and JME. He has also featured on Dubplate Drama. His instrumental 'Clouds' will feature on JME's debut album Famous?, as part of a track entitled 'Ghetto Superstar'.
