The Newham Generals are a grime collective from East London, forming after the joint decision of D Double E, Footsie and Monkey to leave Nasty Crew. The crew's name comes from one of D Double's lyrics: 'If you mess with the Newham General, you'll get left in Newham General'. They were soon signed to Dizzee Rascal's Dirtee Stank label.

They have a regular slot on the pirate radio station Rinse FM.
