Biography

Louis Gibzen (born Louis Gibson Hurndall) is a Manchester based music producer who rose to fame through tracks he produced for Manchester based artists.

Gibzen is realeasing an album in 2008 rumoured to be entitled Burn This City and Unspoken Fears. This will include some of Manchesters most prolific artists and will be completely produced by Gibzen.

In early 2007 Louis produced a track and then put it on a mixtape of beats which was sent to the U.K.s most famous artists. Soon after the mixtape he had sent began to get some attention form U.K. Artists. Artists such as Sway Dasafo, Lady Sovereign, Akala and DJ Ironik all took a beat off this mixtape to use within future projects. A beat off the mixtape was used on the DJ Ironik track Stay With Me which was released on the internet becuase of problems with sample clearance. the sample used was form a Westlife track. The track became popular amongst the internet and reached Westlife themselves. Westlife then got the sample cleared stating "The track is so good and touches on issues of todays society". DJ Ironik then put it on his album and had it as his second single.

After working on the acclaimed single Stay With Me Louis has been working with various artists from the U.K. and is now signed to Uppalevel Entertainment/Sidewinder Raw.
