Who is Dirtsman?

Dirtsman's a 16 year old MC/Artist hailing from North_West_London. He has been developing his musical skill since 2006 and has been able to have made a couple of good achievements considering where he originally started. Although the competition within the younger generation of Grime is great , he is 100% sure that this year he will be able to make a impact on the Grime scene and with a Mixtape ( Washing Up Liquid :The prelude) and promo (Your Swag vol.1) to his name this is a task that seems more than achievable. Its evident that this youth holds talent but has not been yet recognized for it , for this same reason many other mc's become bitter but Mr DM understands that he will have to put in work and produce good music to be brought to others attention .

Washing Up Liquid: The Prelude

W-U-L was the title of Dirtsman's first mix-tape , produced at the age of 15 .At the time he had no definite source of promotion available , despite this he went on to release it on July 27th 2007 and became a success in his eyes. He had no distribution and no idea on how to gain any but still sold 511 cds by hand , and although he has made huge improvements since his first mix-tape its still selling today and this should be proof of what this youth is capable of and if not he plans to prove his worth this year (2008).

Your Swag Vol .1

YSV1 is Dirtsman's first promo. At the time of the production of this 10 track promo Dirtsman had no intentions of making it a 'big' promo , he made it so people could listen to him whilst he took a break outside the studio . Despite him not taking time on this promo when it was released ( in January) it received 100 downloads in its first week which was surprising due to the lack of promotion . The promo has had 271 downloads to date , it may not seem to be a huge amount but it shows that there must be something about this youth that has caused so many people to randomly download his music and he plans to expand on his work when summer time arrives.

Issues

Dirtsman has not yet encountered any sendings or so called 'beef' with other MC's in 2008 . He believes that its better for him to focus on his music at the moment and getting involved with sending for other MC's at this very moment may not be needed at this moment and time. Although he's encountered problems this year which may be irrelevant to state , he is more than sure that his focus has to be maintained to move forward in 2008.
